Terms of Service
Effective October 9, 2026
DirectOps is a product of Divine Flow AI (“DirectOps,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using directops.io, the Director, or the Operator software, you agree to these terms. If you use DirectOps on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. The Service and Beta Program
DirectOps lets you install an Operator agent on machines you control and use our hosted Director to plan and coordinate work on them. The service is in beta: features may change, break, or be removed, and access may be limited, reset, or withdrawn at any time. Do not use the beta for workloads you cannot afford to lose or have interrupted.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. DirectOps is intended for business and professional use. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials and Operator tokens secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by Operators connected to it.
3. Your Machines and Authorization
Operators execute commands and change files on machines you connect. You represent that you own or are authorized to administer every machine you connect and to have DirectOps act on it, including any required consent from your employer, clients, or other users of those machines.
4. AI-Generated Actions and Approvals
DirectOps uses AI models to plan and carry out tasks. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe. Some actions require your approval; you are responsible for reviewing what you approve and for every action run on your machines. Keep your own backups, and do not rely on DirectOps as the sole safeguard for critical or irreversible operations. DirectOps does not provide professional security, legal, or compliance advice.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use DirectOps to: access systems you are not authorized to access; develop or deploy malware; attack or disrupt any system or network; violate the law or others' rights (including intellectual property and privacy rights); probe or test the security of the Director without our written permission; circumvent usage limits or approval controls; resell or share access except as we allow; or reverse engineer the service except where law allows it. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
6. Operator Software License
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run the Operator software on machines you control, solely to use DirectOps. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Operator, or remove its notices. Any open-source components remain under their own licenses.
7. Your Data and Our IP
You keep ownership of your content and data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit it solely to provide, secure, and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use de-identified, aggregated usage data to operate and improve DirectOps. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you. DirectOps, the Operator, the Director, and all related intellectual property remain the property of Divine Flow AI.
8. Third-Party Services
DirectOps relies on third parties, including authentication (Clerk) and AI model providers (such as Anthropic and Mistral). Your task data is sent to them as needed to deliver the service. If you supply your own provider API keys, your use of that provider is subject to its terms, and you pay its charges directly. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Fees and Billing
The beta is currently free and we may end or change that with notice. If we offer paid plans, prices, billing period, and any automatic renewal will be shown clearly before you pay. You can cancel before the next renewal to avoid being charged, and we will notify you of price changes before they apply to you. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
10. Availability and Support
We aim to keep DirectOps running but do not guarantee uptime, availability, or any particular support response. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
DirectOps is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI output will be accurate. This applies to the fullest extent the law allows.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Divine Flow AI and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, or downtime, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to DirectOps is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $10.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
13. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Divine Flow AI against third-party claims, and resulting losses and reasonable legal fees, arising from your connecting machines you are not authorized to control, your content or instructions, or your violation of these terms or the law.
14. Termination
You may stop using DirectOps and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, legal requirements, or to protect the service or other users. On termination your license to the Operator ends and you should uninstall it. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including 7, 11, 12, 13, and 15) will do so.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are our entire agreement with you. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or sale. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not use DirectOps where prohibited by U.S. export or sanctions laws. We may give notice by email or through the service.
17. Changes and Contact
We may update these terms; we will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: hello@directops.io.
